Penn State Dance Marathon

Immediately after inception in 1998, Old State began supporting one of the crown jewels of Penn State – THON.  THON was established in 1978 and has grown to become the largest student run philanthropy in the world!  Raising over $78 million to date THON has effectively waged war against pediatric cancer through the Four Diamonds Fund in Hershey, PA.

Penn State Coaches Vs. Cancer

When people are affected by cancer, the emotional and financial impact is crippling.  Deductibles for health insurance need to be made, gas for travel to and from treatments get expensive, many of the details that accompany a “cancer” diagnosis are sometimes overlooked.  Penn State Coaches vs Cancer was established to assist local families with those expenses as well as put funds toward research for a cure.
