Penn State Dance Marathon

Affectionately referred to as: THON

Immediately after inception in 1998, Old State began supporting one of the crown jewels of Penn State – THON.  THON was established in 1978 and has grown to become the largest student run philanthropy in the world!  Raising over $78 million to date THON has effectively waged war against pediatric cancer through the Four Diamonds Fund in Hershey, PA.

Old State has been working closely with THON on various fund-raising aspects of their mission over the years but in most recent years is THON’s principal supplier for their official THON merchandise sold in official THON stores.  Between providing merchandise for their retail store, and outfitting THON dancers with custom THON apparel, Old State and parent company Nittany Embroidery has earned the designation of Silver Shoes Sponsor for several years now.  Its FTK – For The Kids – Old State and THON will dance till we drop!
